Development Opportunities leading up to the Power Smart Manitoba Games

Optimist Sailors
The training and regattas at the Winnipeg Sailing Centre, Falcon YC and the Gimli Yacht Club are open to all sailors from all regions. We have some Optimists and Prams available at all venues.  They will be given out on a first come – first serve basis.  Please make sure to confirm your attendance at the training sessions for both sites at least three days ahead by phoning our office at 204-925-5647 or Brigitte’s cell at 204-771-4241

*Note that the Buffalo Cup and the Training at the Winnipeg Sailing Centre is sailed in Prams and not in Optimists.

Windsurfers
Everyone can attend the qualifiers in July.  It’s open to females and males.  The age group from +10 to under 18 at the time of the Games (August 7, 2016) is eligible to compete.  You don’t have to belong to a club.

The following training opportunities leading up to the Games are available to all windsurfers.   We have some equipment available and it will be given out on a first come – first serve basis.  Please make sure to confirm your attendance at the qualifier and the training sessions  at least two weeks ahead by phoning our office at 204-925-5647 or sending an email to sailing@sportmanitoba.ca
